The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), through its Directorate General of International Affairs, received a visit from representatives of Middlebury College with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation ties between the two institutions.
The Director General of International Affairs, Orlando de la Vega Luna, met with Carlos Vélez, representative of the Study Abroad area of Middlebury College, and Juan Pastene, MA, Director and Academic Advisor of the CV Starr-Middlebury College School Abroad program in Chile. During the meeting, they discussed various initiatives aimed at strengthening student and faculty mobility, as well as generating new opportunities for academic and cultural collaboration.
This visit reaffirms PUCV's commitment to the internationalization of its academic work and the integral formation of its students through global experiences. The alliance with Middlebury College, a highly prestigious institution in the United States, constitutes a valuable platform to promote academic exchange and intercultural understanding.
