At the Central House of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), a ceremony was held to celebrate the successful completion of their German studies by a new generation of students in the Program of German as a Foreign Language (PALE). This joint program between the PUCV and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has been a pillar in the linguistic and cultural training of more than two thousand students since 2008.
The ceremony was led by Alina Neumeyer, DAAD Lecturer and PALE coordinator, who emphasized the importance of German language proficiency in broadening academic and professional horizons.
Also present at the ceremony were Ivania Yáñez Pereda, Director of International Exchange of the PUCV, and Ignacio Bahamonde, Director of International Projects of the General Directorate of International Affairs of the PUCV.

The PALE Program, which began in 2008, has served as a platform for the dissemination of German language and culture in Valparaiso and beyond. More than two thousand students have participated in this enriching educational experience, strengthening international cooperation.
The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) remain committed to their mission of fostering educational cooperation and intercultural understanding through programs such as PALE. The graduation of this new generation of students reflects the success of this collaboration and its contribution to learning and cultural diversity.
