PUCV participated in International Outreach Seminar organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The PUCV represented by Ignacio Bahamonde, Director of International Projects of the DGAI attended the International Dissemination Seminar, a valuable opportunity to strengthen the international projection of the region and promote collaboration between the Regional Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ProChile and other relevant actors. This initiative seeks to enhance Valparaiso's participation in the international arena and take advantage of the opportunities offered by Chilean foreign policy for regional development.

The Seminar included the following presentations: "Main Aspects of Chile's Foreign Policy", Ambassador Christian Rehren; "Chile's Consular Policy and Relationship and Links with the Province of Mendoza", Counselor Juan Pino, Consul General of Chile in Mendoza; "Internationalization Strategy of the Valparaíso Region", Alejando Corvalán, Regional Director of ProChile Valparaíso; "Decentralized Cooperation Practices and Regional Management", Patricia González, Head of Decentralized Cooperation, International Cooperation Agency for Development (AGCID); and, "Chile's Cultural Policy Abroad and the Presence of the Regions", Constanza Rojas, Head of the Management Area of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DIRAC).
