At Casa Central of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), 13 international students who will participate in the Summer 1 Program were welcomed. This program focuses on teaching Spanish as a foreign language at different levels.
All the students come from the United States and are ready to begin this new academic and cultural experience in Valparaiso. The reception ceremony was led by the Director of International Exchange, Ms. Ivania Yáñez who pointed out the particularities of Spanish in Chile and the richness of learning the language at PUCV. "We hope that they not only perfect their Spanish, but also immerse themselves in our culture and make the most of this opportunity."
PUCV welcomes the students of the Summer 1 Program and wishes them a fruitful and enriching stay in Valparaíso.
