36th Aisoc International Congress concludes at PUCV

Between July 3 and 5, the School of Business and Economics (ENE) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) hosted the 36th International Congress of the Ibero-American Association of Sociology of Organizations and Communication (Aisoc), an event that brought together leading researchers, academics and doctoral students from Ibero-America.

The organizing committee was made up of the Aisoc board of directors: María Victoria Sanagustín, José Antonio Ruiz, Leticia Porto and Kenia del Orbe, and from the PUCV were Mauricio Becerra and Edmundo Varela.

"It was a privilege and a pleasure for the school to receive researchers and academics from 10 different countries to discuss and explore the intersection between organizations, technological changes and the construction of inclusive societies," said Edmundo Varela, head of ENE Research.

Attendees participated in working tables, keynote presentations, poster sessions and a doctoral colloquium, facilitating the exchange of ideas and collaboration among participants.

The congress addressed current issues affecting both organizations and society, such as adapting to technological changes and promoting inclusion in different areas. Attendees appreciated the quality of the presentations and discussions, the facilities of the School of Business and Economics and the closeness and warmth of those involved in the organization.

The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso is proud to have hosted this event, thus contributing to the development and dissemination of research aimed at building more inclusive societies that are prepared for future challenges.
