The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso celebrated a new edition of Open Day on August 9, opening its doors to more than three thousand high school students from different educational establishments, who had the opportunity to learn directly about the various careers offered by this prestigious university.
This event, which took place at the different campuses and sites of the PUCV, was a resounding success with record attendance. The young visitors were guided and advised by students and professors of the university, who answered their questions and concerns about the different careers and offered them a clearer vision of the academic and professional opportunities that the PUCV makes available to them.
The Directorate General of International Affairs, DGAI had an outstanding participation in the event, encouraging prospective students to consider the possibility of an international exchange during their university education. This approach reinforces PUCV's commitment to internationalization and the development of a global education, offering students the opportunity to expand their horizons and acquire an enriching experience abroad.
Open Day 2024 was, without a doubt, an excellent opportunity for future students to familiarize themselves with university life and discover the wide range of possibilities that PUCV offers for their personal and professional development.
