The PUCV advances in its Internationalization Policy with new Focus Groups with professors and researchers of the PUCV, International Institutions and the Consular Corps of Valparaiso.

This week, the Directorate General of International Affairs of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso marked a milestone in its commitment to internationalization by conducting a series of Focus Groups in collaboration with PUCV professors and researchers, international institutions in Chile and the Consular Corps of Valparaíso.

The initiative, framed within the Internationalization Policy Development Day, evidenced the firm commitment of the PUCV with the construction of a strategic vision focused on "Internationalization for integration in a global society".

The Focus Groups, led by the Directorate General of International Affairs, brought together leading professionals from the PUCV, representatives of foreign entities in Chile and members of the Consular Corps of Valparaíso. These meetings were spaces for fruitful dialogue, where crucial aspects related to the international projection of the university were addressed.

The active participation of PUCV professors and researchers allowed their experiences and perspectives to enrich the discussion on how to enhance internationalization in academia. Likewise, the presence of foreign entities in Chile and the Consular Corps of Valparaiso contributed with valuable strategic contributions, consolidating the importance of international collaboration.

These Focus Groups not only served as a space to analyze the challenges and opportunities of internationalization, but also highlighted the relevance of the diversity of voices in the formulation of policies and strategies. By leading this inclusive process, PUCV reinforces its position as an institution committed to academic excellence and the creation of a global and diverse environment.

The General Directorate of International Affairs is preparing to consolidate the conclusions and perspectives that emerged from these Focus Groups, giving way to concrete actions that further strengthen the international presence of the PUCV and its contribution to global society.
