A Honduran delegation, led by the Minister of Education of Honduras, Daniel Esponda, and the Ambassador of Honduras in Chile, Linda Redondo, met with representatives of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV).
At the meeting, chaired by the General Director of International Affairs of the PUCV, Orlando de la Vega, educational experiences and matters related to Leadership in schools were shared. Carmen Montecinos, Executive Director of the PUCV Educational Leaders Center, and her team presented their work in this area, and Professor Jeannette Fonseca, Director of Undergraduate Studies at the PUCV, presented the university's pedagogical model.
The possibilities of student exchange and other forms of institutional collaboration were also discussed.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of institutions and organizations related to education, such as the team of advisors from Chile's Undersecretary of Education, the Seremi of Education of Valparaíso, Romina Maragaño, and members of the Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Education for Latin America and the Caribbean, who provided complementary perspectives on teacher training.
