The Director General of International Affairs of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Professor Orlando de la Vega Luna, participated in the Canada Day commemoration held in Santiago.
The activity was organized by the Canadian Embassy in Chile and brought together representatives of the diplomatic, academic and cultural world, who were invited to celebrate the anniversary of the Confederation of Canada and strengthen ties between the two countries.
PUCV's participation in this event is part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening international ties and promoting collaborative work with Canadian higher education institutions, with which it maintains relations in areas such as student mobility, academic cooperation and joint research.
During the reception, the Director General had the opportunity to share with the authorities present and representatives of various diplomatic, university and social organizations, discussing the challenges and opportunities offered by the link between Chilean and Canadian universities.
