The Directorate General of International Affairs (DGAI) of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso held a meeting with Ximena Ospina, representative of the University of Adelaide (Australia), and Marlou Best, representative of LAE International Education, an agency specializing in study abroad.
The meeting was led by the Director of International Projects of the DGAI, Ignacio Bahamonde, and its purpose was to explore areas of collaboration between the two institutions, in areas such as exchange programs, student mobility and academic cooperation.
During the meeting, it was noted that the University of Adelaide is part of the Go8 group, made up of Australian universities focused on research, and is located in the city of Adelaide, in the state of South Australia, which has favorable immigration policies for international students.
LAE International Education presented its work as an intermediary in the link between Latin American students and Australian institutions, facilitating application processes and educational guidance.
