In a significant step towards strengthening international academic cooperation, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) received Professor Maria Grazia Pazienza from the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Florence, Italy.
Professor Pazienza, who is the Coordinator of the agreement for the Economic Department of the University of Florence, was received by the General Director of International Affairs of the PUCV, Professor Orlando de la Vega Luna, the Director of Exchange, Ivania Yáñez, and the Director of International Projects, Ignacio Bahamonde. During her stay, she visited the School of Economics and Business, where she met with its director, Rodrigo Navia and academics from that School, to explore opportunities for academic cooperation, joint research and student exchange programs.
Professor Pazienza expressed her interest in the collaboration, highlighting the academic quality and PUCV's commitment to internationalization. PUCV authorities also expressed their interest in strengthening ties with the University of Florence and advancing joint projects that contribute to the academic and scientific development of both universities.
