Today at the Casa Central PUCV was held the welcoming ceremony for 26 international students who will participate in the Summer 2 program, this program runs from June 27 to July 28, which focuses on teaching Spanish as a foreign language at different levels. It is worth mentioning that there are 22 students from the United States and 4 students from Norway, the latter after completing the Summer 2 program, will join the regular semester at PUCV and take classes at the School of Architecture and Design, with this experience the Norwegian students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Chilean culture and education during a year of exchange at PUCV. This will allow them to expand their knowledge, establish intercultural ties and enrich their academic perspective.
The reception ceremony was headed by the Director of International Relations of the PUCV, Orlando de la Vega Luna, who thanked the entire team that collaborates in the university to materialize the student exchange programs, and also wished the young students a fruitful stay in Valparaiso and precisely in our House of Studies. We hope that they not only learn Spanish, but also get to know our culture.
