Valparaíso, July 28, 2023 - The International Affairs Department of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) is proud to announce the successful completion of the SUMMER 2 Program - year 2023. This initiative, which included the participation of 26 students from the United States and 4 students from Norway, offered an enriching five-week experience at PUCV, allowing students to immerse themselves in Chilean culture and learn the Spanish language.
The SUMMER Program, which focuses on teaching Spanish as a foreign language at various levels, has proven to be a valuable tool for international students to adapt to their level and develop their language skills according to their individual needs and abilities. During their stay at the university, participants enjoyed a wide variety of cultural and academic activities, allowing them a deep immersion in the local context and an unforgettable experience in Chile.
The 4 Norwegian students who were part of this program will continue their stay at PUCV and will add to the regular semester at the School of Architecture and Design, where they will enjoy a year of exchange at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, which will allow them to deepen their academic training and develop lasting ties with the university community and the local environment.
PUCV thanks all participating students for their commitment and enthusiasm during the SUMMER 2 Program - year 2023, as well as the professors and staff involved who contributed to create an enriching environment conducive to learning and coexistence.
