With more than 40 years of experience, the Institute of Literature and Language Sciences of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) is a rich source of knowledge and transmission of values, whose postgraduate programs are internationally recognized. With 122 graduates of the Masters in Applied Linguistics and 70 graduates of the Doctorate in Linguistics, the researchers who have opted for these programs -accredited for eight and seven years, respectively- have a solid theoretical and methodological domain that allows them to work with all the ethical rigor that applied linguistics demands.
