PUCV Missions" Program holds international seminar on Water Management in Chile

The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) held an international seminar on management and efficiency in water management, as part of the "PUCV Missions" program. The initiative corresponds to the interdisciplinary and international work of the University, in this case, between its Faculties of Engineering, Marine Sciences and Geography, and Agronomy and Food Sciences, together with the Directorate General of International Affairs and the Embassy of Israel in Chile.

The event was held on Wednesday, September 13, in the Honor Hall of the University, and its objective was to analyze the current situation and perspectives in the treatment and management of water resources in the country.

The international seminar was inaugurated by the rector of the PUCV, Professor Nelson Vásquez, and was attended by the general director of Public Works, Boris Olguín, and the ambassador of Israel in Chile, Gil Artzyeli.

Representatives of national and international companies, as well as professors and students of the University also participated.
