The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso certified the English level of more than 400 undergraduate students, within the framework of the English as a Foreign Language Program (PILE), with the support of the Directorate General of International Affairs (DGAI). This initiative is part of the university's efforts to strengthen the training of its students under international standards, using the University of Cambridge evaluations as a reference.
The certificates awarded correspond to levels B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced. In addition, students who participated in the PUCV2English program were recognized.
For the DGAI, these instances are fundamental, since English language skills represent a key step to access academic exchange opportunities, strengthening the internationalization of students.
This certification consolidates as a valuable tool in the graduate profile, while reflecting the institutional commitment to prepare students for global environments.
