In a significant step towards international academic collaboration, professors and researchers from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, carried out a series of meetings and visits at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), with the firm purpose of strengthening ties and promoting areas of collaboration and academic exchange.
The academics met with the General Director of International Affairs of the PUCV, Orlando de la Vega, during which they analyzed the possibilities of collaboration and explored ways for academic exchange in various areas of knowledge. This initiative is part of the objective of analyzing new bilateral agreements and expanding areas of joint research.
The Scottish academics then had the opportunity to tour some of the facilities at the PUCV Campus in Curauma, which included a visit to the Curauma Biotechnology Nucleus (NBC) and the Institute of Biology, where areas of research collaboration were explored.
