Visit of Professor Natasa Markovska to PUCV

The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso received researcher Natasa Markovska, member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). During her stay, Professor Markovska gave a seminar at the School of Industrial Engineering, where she spoke about energy and sustainable development.

Following the seminar, Professor Markovska participated in a meeting with the General Director of International Affairs of the PUCV, Professor Orlando de la Vega, to discuss internationalization initiatives and co-tutelage projects. Also present were Neven Duic, Professor of the University of Zagreb and Vice President of the Croatian Academy of Engineering, Felipe Feijoo, Associate Professor and Chair of the PhD Program in Industrial Engineering, and Javier Maturana Ross, Professor of the School of Industrial Engineering of the PUCV.

The visit strengthened international cooperation ties and explored new opportunities for academic collaboration in key areas such as sustainability and energy.
