The General Director of International Affairs of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Professor Orlando de la Vega, together with the Dean of the School of Engineering, Gianni Olguin and the Director of the School of Electrical Engineering, Gonzalo Farías, visited Northern Illinois University (NIU), United States. During the visit they met with President Lisa C. Freeman, Provost Laurie Elish-Piper, Mansour Tahernezhadi, Associate Dean of the School of Engineering of the foreign university and different academics.
This visit focused on strengthening academic and cooperative ties between the two institutions. Exploring opportunities for student exchange, joint research projects and collaborative programs in engineering and other disciplines.
