Today, at the Casa Central PUCV, the Welcome Ceremony was held for 21 students from the United States, France and Norway who will participate in the Summer 2 program, which runs from June 24 to July 26. This program focuses on teaching Spanish as a foreign language at different levels.
The reception ceremony was led by the Director of International Projects of the PUCV, Ignacio Bahamonde, who thanked the entire team that collaborates at the university to materialize the student exchange programs. Bahamonde highlighted the importance of learning Spanish, getting to know the culture, sharing and learning, as well as appreciating the heritage city of Valparaíso. He shared his best wishes with the students for a fruitful stay in Valparaíso and in our university, hoping that they will not only learn Spanish, but also immerse themselves in the rich Chilean culture.
